What's In the Package

A complete excavator cab guard setup covers three pieces, each doing a specific job on the machine.

Ballistic Defender Window	Front Mesh Screen	Top Cab Guard
UL752 Level 1 rated polycarbonate, bolts over factory locations on the front of the cab.	2×2″ woven wire screen, bolts on, follows the windscreen’s contour.	Shields against falling debris, lets light through, includes an escape hatch on applicable models.

Ballistic-Rated. Not Bulletproof.

Nothing is bulletproof, and this window isn’t “ballistic glass” either. It’s UL752 Level 1 rated polycarbonate, a hardened laminate built for impact, not a mineral glass product.

Tested standard: withstands a 124 grain, 9mm FMJ projectile fired from 15 feet

Temperature range: rated from -26°F to 120°F

Why not glass: true ballistic-rated glass at this level runs nearly three inches thick, too heavy to mount on a cab

Construction: not drilled (a common failure point in aftermarket parts), bonded to a steel frame so it flexes less and holds up longer

Built to Fit

Bolt-on kit: fits current Cat 306, 307.5, 308, 309, 310, and all Cat DEF and Next Gen model excavators, including the Caterpillar 317 excavator and Caterpillar 336F excavator.

Custom packages: custom guarding for operators who want more than the standard kit (running boards, light kits, box guards, and other accessories). Available across the full Cat excavator lineup, from Cat 306 through 336F, including DEF and Next Gen models. Machine brought to our facility for fitting.
